In September 2021 in Hartford, Connecticut, it was a reunion of sorts for Hicks and childhood friend pianist Dave Aston. In addition to the musical performances, the night celebrated local heroes who have made a difference during the pandemic and also featured a book signing by author Derrick Winston.
